We are the UK's leading developer of educational games, interactive multimedia, mobile games, and websites.
Crucial Interactive Media, is a specialist publisher of digital animated games for young people. We publish our own games, and also produce games for other publishers. Our flagship award-winning series of games addressing safety is branded Crucial Crew Interactive and addresses issues ranging from Gangs, Guns and Knives to Seasides and Electricity.
Another series of games addresses emergency planning issues and is published under the What If...? brand. Topics covered include flooding and first aid.
Other educational products include Maths In Action - a series of Maths-based animations for primary school curriculum, and TheAlternativeTrip - a simple drugs and alcohol awareness site.
As well as educational multimedia we have a team of expert web designers and developers who look after commercial and public sector web projects, as well as our own publishing initiatives such as WhatsonYork.com. While we employ a team of expert programmers, interface designers and multimedia producers, we ensure that our clients liaise with a single account manager who will take time to understand their requirements and project manage the development of the project.
We bring extensive experience of working with business associations and membership organisations, and of developing an integrated online presence for connected organisations.
We undertake to do more for our clients than to meet their current requirements - we will introduce to them the latest internet technologies and marketing opportunities, so that they can ensure your websites take advantage of the best of what the fast-moving new media industry can offer.
